Pause Fest is Australasia’s premier innovation event. It was held in Melbourne last week over 3 days of different themes — Creativity, Tech and Business.
I attended the event as a presenter for That Startup Show — which meant I had the pleasure of meeting the guest speakers and interviewing them for the show.
We grabbed each speaker as soon as they finished their presentation, and did a 4-5 minute interview with them. Because the interviews were being edited and published immediately, we did them ‘as live’. Which meant no stopping or stuff-ups — you just had to keep on going!
We had prepped some questions beforehand, but Anna, the director, also wanted me to ‘go with the flow’ of the conversation.
TV presenting is not something I do very often, but I really enjoy it. It requires a different skill set to public speaking and podcasting, so I love the challenge. And plus, as a presenter, they refer to you as “the talent” 😛
