Travelling and experiencing new cultures can provide us with important life lessons — which is one reason why I love visiting new countries.
In this episode, I share what I learned on my recent trip to Vietnam. My partner Aaron and I spent 9 days exploring Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hoi An and Hanoi.
If you haven’t been to Vietnam, you MUST go! The food is amazing, the people are friendly, and the country has an incredibly rich (not to mention sobering) history. It really puts things in perspective when you realise what the people of Vietnam have been through, and only very recently too. Yet they still push on. They welcome Westerners to their country, they open up businesses left right and centre, and boy do they HUSTLE.
Listen in to hear what I learned on my trip, and how these lessons can be applied to our every day lives.
Big thanks also to my sister Lizzay Canters for filling in for me on the show while I was away! If you missed her episode, make sure you check it out. Click here to listen.
