Ever wondered what makes an effective emcee?
It’s an excellent skill to have, whether you’re running a business meeting, hosting a networking event, or MC at a family function.
Being able to effectively MC an event is a whole other component and skill of public speaking – that not many people know how to do well.
I know I’ve often seen people stumble over their words, or give a lacklustre intro with no enthusiasm.
But that’s not you, of course! Because today, we have an absolute PRO joining us on the podcast to share his insights on how to be an amazing MC.
I’m really excited to introduce you to Pete Hordern (AKA Pete The Celebrant), who shares with us what it means to be a great emcee how (and how NOT) to introduce other people, as well as how he prepares for his role – and deals with spontaneity.
Pete and I are both part of the Fresh Networking community, and I had the pleasure of being introduced by Pete at an event where I was speaking.
