PERSONALITY styles workplace communication christina canters confidence engagementDo you ever wonder why you get along really well with some people…and with others you think: ‘What’s their problem?‘

It’s OK — there’s nothing wrong with YOU. It may just be that you both communicate in different ways!

In this episode, we’re talking all about the four main personality styles you will encounter at work. You will discover WHY it’s important to be able to communicate and engage with all four, as well as HOW to recognise each one and how each communicates. To help us, I’m joined by training and development expert Ralph Muir Morris.

Ralph consults with companies to help their people make the most of their abilities through excellent communication and leadership. He’s also a lead facilitator with corporate training company JHW.

I recently went to the JHW 3 day Engagement Skills workshop, where I learned a ton about communicating with different personality styles. It was so valuable, I wanted to get Ralph on the show to give you an introduction to this concept.

In this episode, he explains the different personality types and styles – what they are, how to identify them, and why this is important if you want to be happy and productive at work and in your relationships.

You may already be familiar with what the Myers Briggs, DISC, and colours personality tests teach us – in which case – awesome! – but you should still listen in for a refresher and the different perspective that Ralph offers.

(Oh, and listen to the end to hear my rendition of Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag’. Ka-ching ka-ching!)
