Did you know that body language makes up 55% of your communication?
Yep, when you’re communicating a message, 55% of it is body language, 38% is your tone of voice, and only 7% is the words you use.
So if you want to be a confident, effective speaker, whether it’s speaking on stage, in a client meeting or one-to-one, you need to be aware of what your body language says about you.
In this episode, I’m sharing with you a conversation I had with Blake Eastman, the founder of NYC based company The Nonverbal Group.
Blake teaches people how to use nonverbal communication to be confident and successful in situations like business meetings, presentations and dating. He’s obsessed with understanding human behaviour, and has developed a deep level understanding of how our body language affects how others perceive us.
Blake uses real world examples to explain his secret tricks for instantly making you more likeable, persuasive and confident.
And the best part? You can easily implement them in your next business or social situation!
This is a conversation I featured on my first podcast, and it’s one of my personal favourites. Blake is just overflowing with amazing insights, and I believe it is so important to learn and apply this stuff, I wanted to share it again on this podcast.
This conversation is PACKED with valuable tips, so I suggest you make note of just one or two things that you can implement this week, either during your daily conversations or for your next presentation.
For my fellow ukulele enthusiasts – listen in to the end to hear my rendition of ‘All About The Bass’ 😉
