We all have one. It’s our biggest asset. It has unlimited amounts of power…yet it’s also our biggest challenge.
I’m talking about the thing that sits between our ears — our mind.
What we carry around in our minds — our beliefs — has a huge impact on our feelings, on our behaviour, on our actions, which leads to the results we see in our lives.
So if you want to be a confident speaker, or express yourself fully, or enjoy networking events, or get that new job, or start that business, ask that person out, whatever it is — if you want success, you’ve got to be aware of your MIND and whether it’s helping you or holding you back.
The ‘Growth vs. Fixed Mindset’ is an eye-opening concept that shows how our minds impact our results.
And to help me discuss this topic, I’m very excited to welcome to the podcast Clear Thinking Strategist, brand communication expert and my good friend Matt Baker of Clear Group.
Matt is also the lead facilitator of the Fresh Networking Group in St Kilda, of which I have recently become a member. He recently gave a presentation on Fixed vs Growth mindset, and I thought it was so valuable I asked him to share it again on the podcast. So I hope you enjoy!
He and I discuss the 6 key elements of a growth mindset, and some simple yet powerful tweaks you can make to the way you think that will help you to get outside your comfort zone, do the things that scare you, and ultimately, achieve incredible things you may not have previously thought possible.
