How often are you introduced to someone, and seconds later forget their name?
Contrary to what you may believe, you’re not “terrible with names” – you just don’t know how to remember.
Turns out, our brains are fantastic at remembering things, but the heavily repetitive rote method we learned in school to do so is not the most effective.
I’m excited to introduce you to my guest this week, memory coach and author Bill Aronson. Bill helps people improve their memories, so they can be more productive, more effective and experience less frustration.
In this conversation, Bill shares not only how to easily remember people’s names, but also how to remember your speech, so you NEVER have a mental blank again. If you are terrified of giving a speech or presentation without notes, or worry about having a mental blank, this episode is a must-listen.
I applied what I learned from Bill to my Toastmasters speech this week, and it was super effective. I remembered all 7 points I wanted to make, I didn’t use notes, and I felt very confident that I would remember. So, I’ve proven it works! Listen to the episode to find out how I did it.
